Consciousness Convergence on July 17-18
Greetings Everyone,
There has been so much happening in the sky these days from the Summer Solstice to the Lunar and Solar Eclipses, to the rare Grand Cross configuration and now, there is the soon to be Consciousness Convergence on July 17-18th. I’d like to explain in some detail what that indicates for us.
July 17-16 2010 is a sensitive point in the Mayan Calendar where a pre-wave motion begins that will set the tone for the next and final underworld which will soon be starting. Currently we are in the sixth night of the 2nd last underworld which is called the Galactic. We are quickly coming to the time frame in this underworld that is at the exact junction when the Harmonic Convergence of Aug. 16, 1987 took place in the previous 7th underworld and, in turn, at the exact same junction in the underworld before that one, the sixth, when the Renaissance happened in Europe.
The opportunity present during this point is to begin the anchoring of ‘unity consciousness’ which is what the final underworld is about – in fact it is the culminating intention of the entire Mayan Calendar. In a nutshell, its time for us to set a vibrational intention, collectively, that will set the motion of this wave in the direction that our highest ideals wish it to go. And, most importantly, it is a critical time to begin the anchoring of these ideals into practical form.
Interestingly enough the Grand Cross configuration that was recently in the sky also indicates transformational social change in the works. Let me break it down:
Uranus, planet of revolutionary causes and humanitarian ideals is in a long-term and challenging aspect to Pluto, the planet of deep transformational change. It’s in a challenging aspect called a ‘square’. Significantly, this square is, in fact, also the first quarter phase of the current cycle between these planets which began in the mid to late 1960′s. They were both conjunct in the sign of Virgo at the time. Of course, that is a period of time well-remembered for its turbulence and social change.
Saturn is also in a long-term challenging aspect to these two planets, adding its character to the mix. Saturn represents resistance to change, is slowing the process down considerably and , at best, is offering the opportunity to build concrete practical solutions.
Jupiter has also become part of the configuration. It is conjunct Uranus these days and is also in challenging aspect to the other three planets. Jupiter (and Saturn) will be in this relationship until the end of September. Over the summer season Jupiter adds the potential for broadening perspectives, new ways of thinking and communicating with far-reaching goals in mind and an emphasis on social justice ( at best). Being in a challenging aspect however, excessive behavior,self-indulgence and, quite frankly, laziness are likely to be present.
Recently the Sun, Moon, and Mercury all connected with this combination of planets to form the Grand Cross.
creating a kind of grid lock situation. Grand Crosses demand resolution, actions not dealing with the issues presented by the configuration will always lead you right back into it. It was present in the Solstice chart and the Lunar Eclipse chart– and therefore will resonate throughout the summer.
Not an easy passage,but also one we can’t avoid. Globally, one can’t help but think the gulf oil crisis may push our hand– and then there is the economic structure hanging in the balance, still unresolved. We’ve outgrown the old social order and its up to us to envision and then act on the new one we wish to put into place.
As the Hopi prophesy says: ‘We are the One’s we are waiting for’.
So, my intention here is to help spread the awareness of the portal opening on July17-18 — calling for a collective consciousness of intent and most importantly, to then act on these intentions. I hope and encourage you to respond to this in the best way you can and with the highest of intentions.
